Some people who have learned about Lindsay Clancy’s situation have wanted a way to send her a simple message of humanity and support. Others have lived through postpartum depression, postpartum psychosis, psychiatric hospitalization, medication struggles, profound grief, or times when their own minds became frightening or unfamiliar to them.

Words for Lindsay was created to collect those messages.

This is not a place to debate the case. It is a place to write to another human being with compassion.

WHAT THIS IS — AND WHAT IT ISN’T

This project does not take a position on Lindsay Clancy’s legal case.

It is not a forum for discussing evidence, testimony, guilt, innocence, family members, attorneys, doctors, witnesses, jurors, or theories about what happened.

Nothing here diminishes the unimaginable loss of her three children.

This space exists for one reason: to offer kindness to another human being living through unimaginable circumstances.

This is a place to write to Lindsay, not to argue about Lindsay.

If you would like to write something kind, there is room for it here.
